Assistant Principal

Counselor

Hello! My name is Kristi Baze and I am honored to be the principal of Lindale’s Early Childhood Center. This is my 28th year in education. Throughout my career I have taught 1st and 2nd grade, been a school counselor, the assistant principal at Lindale’s Early Childhood Center, and now the principal.

At Lindale’s Early Childhood Center we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment to all of our students. As the  staff and myself work along with parents, we are committed to giving our children and families an excellent experience while simultaneously building a strong academic foundation.  The best way to keep in touch with happenings at ECC is through our Facebook page (Lindale Early Childhood Center) and by checking our website. Each month I will send a monthly newsletter through our Skyward email system. This is also where I communicate about important reminders and updates. At ECC we pride ourselves on having an inviting environment for all of our families.

If you would like to meet and discuss our wonderful school, you may contact me @

Dear Staff, Families, and Students,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Lindale Early Childhood Center. It is an honor to join this incredible campus and to be given the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing excellence, welcoming environment, and strong academic foundation that ECC is known for.

My journey in education has been diverse and deeply fulfilling! I began in 2009 as a first grade teacher at Lindale Primary. When Lindale Primary split into what is now known as College Street and Velma Penny, I continued teaching first grade at College Street before moving into a 4th grade RLA position at EJ Moss. In these positions, I developed a passion for fostering student growth and creating engaging learning experiences. In more recent years, I have served as a RLA instructional coach and an elementary teaching and learning facilitator for Lindale ISD. These roles have allowed me to support teachers across multiple

grade levels in their professional development.

As I step into this new role, my commitment to serving our staff, families, and students will remain my top priority. I am dedicated to ensuring that every child receives high quality instruction and that our school continues to be a place where every student feels loved and encouraged to bring their best everyday. I look forward to working collaboratively with our staff and the families of ECC to continue to foster a culture where our students thrive

academically, socially, and emotionally.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to support and serve our school community to the best of my ability.

Thankful,

Hi there! My name is Kylee Barrett, and I am so excited to be the new school counselor here at Lindale Early Childhood Center. This will be my 6th year in education, having spent 4 years as an Elementary Music Teacher, and this will be my second year as a school counselor.

As your school counselor, I am here to support the emotional, social, and academic development of all our students. You can count on me to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. I will work closely with teachers, parents, and the community to ensure each child receives the guidance they need to succeed!

Whether through individual counseling, group sessions, or classroom activities, my goal is to help every student thrive. Please feel free to reach out to me with any concerns or questions you might have.

On a personal note, I am married to my husband of 3 years, Hunter, and we are excited to bring our son into the world in September. We are thrilled to be a part of the Lindale community!
